Valparaiso

Valparaiso is a UNESCO city and an important sea port in Chile. It has some unique architecture brought about by the various Europeans disembarking from the port. It has been well preserved.

I had a good run all the way to the top of Plaza Artilleria where you can see all the huge cranes and ships at the port from above. Sadly I forgot my camera so I can only tell you about it.

The old prison, is now being turned into an arts centre hence the builders fence

The cemetary - another one like in Buenos Aires with mini palaces for graves

Palm trees and shipping containers - I thought the colours are similar to the houses, wonder if that´s where they got the idea from
